Reading in Year Five & Six 

Reading in Venus is important and we try to find lots of opportunities to read and enjoy books.  Our classroom is brimming with a wide range of titles from classics to recently released titles.  Children can access our class library anytime and we have a signing in and out system.  They can even borrow Mrs Smallshaw's books too!  Our reading scheme is varied and children can read fiction, non-fiction and poetry books.  We also visit the  school library, where children have access an even wider range of reading material.
